Introducing Vicky – Sales Assistant/Ticketing

I was born and raised in sunny South Africa, the southern lower region of Africa.  I've worked in travel for four years and had the amazing opportunity to visit three lodges in Namibia, South West Africa.

Impalila and Ntwala Island lodge is situated at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers; it's a place where four countries meet!  From the air you can experience an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and endless bushveld.  On the ground, there is exceptional birdlife, game viewing.  In the waters you can experience outstanding fishing and Tigerfishing opportunities as well as a sunset game cruise on the Chobe River.

Susuwe Island Lodge is situated in North-eastern Namibia; the island is in the remote Kwando River.  This was by far my most favourite lodge.  The lodge itself is beautiful, comfortable and very relaxing.  The rooms are spacious with a beautiful thatched roof and a splash pool on the deck overlooking the savannah wetlands. From the deck you can also experience the amazing sunrise and sunset splendour.  Game drives in the Bwabwata National park and the night drives at Susuwe offers even closer insight of the African bush.

South Africa is filled with great Safaris, many different cultures, amazing cuisines and beautiful wine routes.

I’m enjoying my new adventure here at Downunder Travel; I work with a dynamic group of people and I am always inspired by this wonderful team to plan my next adventures.

Traveling not only broadens one’s own perspective on how other cultures live, but also it brings inner satisfaction when experiencing life out the ordinary.
