Most Unforgettable Travel Experience:

Believe it or not, it is not where I have been or what I have done that make my most unforgettable travel experience list….it is the people I am with and have met in these destinations that really make the experience unforgettable for me. The striking olive green eyes of a young child in a very remote village of India, playing chess with locals on a kerbside in Bali, Snorkeling with my family on the amazing reef outside our hotel in the Cook Islands, dinner with an esteemed Aboriginal Elder in Darwin, an up close and personal presentation by the incredible Steve Irwin (RIP), Drinking Kava on a pandanas weaved mat with villagers from a remote Fijian Island, meeting up with an old friend for dinner at Nicks Seafood Grill in Sydney’s vibrant Darling Harbour. The list goes on and on. Pretty much all my most unforgettable travel experiences are about who I was with at the time rather than where and what.
