Welcome to Australia! You will be picked up at the airport and dropped off at your hotel.

Day 5

Sydney Walking Tour

Join your cycle tour of Sydney.  A super easy ride featuring stunning harbour views as we pedal past Circular Quay, the piers at Walsh Bay, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park, and the Royal Botanic Gardens. There's no better way to get a quick feel for the city, than the Harbour Highlights Tour.

Day 6

Blue Mountains

 

You’ll commence the small group deluxe tour into the heart of the unique Blue Mountains World Heritage Region. The Blue Mountains National Park is one of seven national parks that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. This wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests boasts luxury retreats and the world's steepest railway. Today your guide will take you off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history, flora and fauna of this magnificent region.
from Evans Lookout to Govetts Leap all the while looking out across Australia's Grand Canyon, The Grose Valley. Once you clap your eyes on the view from many points along this track, you will know why it's one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfalls drop a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff.

Day 7

Sydney to Cairns

 

You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Cairns. Upon arrival arrival in Cairns, you will be transferred to your hotel in Port Douglas

Great Barrier Reef

 

Be taken to the Agincourt ribbon reef, at the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef for your personal reef discovery. Ideal for those seeking the widest choice of reef experiences including snorkelling, underwater observatory and semi-submersible.

Day 9

Daintree Walkabout

 

Kuku Yalanji Dreamtime Gorge Walk. After arriving at Mossman Gorge, you will be treated to a guided rainforest walk along private, easy graded tracks, visiting special places and culturally significant sites, past traditional bark shelters and over cool rainforest streams. Your experienced interpretive Indigenous guides demonstrate traditional plant use, identify bush tucker sources, share their dreamtime legends, explain the history of cave paintings and provide an enchanting narrative of the rainforest and their special relationships within this unique tropical environment.

Cairns to Adelaide

Join your transfer to the Cairns airport. After your flight to Adelaide, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 12

Kangaroo Island

 

Fly from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island.  On arrival to Kingscote Airport, you will be met by your tour guide, and after a brief orientation, you will begin your day of touring. Get an introduction to Island life - where things take time.  Where drivers wave as they go by - or even stop for a chat. Travel through some of the Islands best farming country to the North Coast and Lathami Conservation Park.  At Seal Bay Conservation Park walk with your guide amongst Australian sealions on a beautiful sandy beach.  Watch pups nursing, or playing in the surf, see old bulls bearing the scars of territorial disputes and learn about their unique breeding biology.

Day 13

Kangaroo Island back to Adelaide

 

Flinders Chase National Park is a vast wilderness covering the entire west end of the Island, is home to kangaroos, wallabies, possums, goannas, echidnas, koalas, platypus and many birds including the rare  Cape Barren Geese. At Cape du Couedic visit a fur seal colony which now number over 20,000 after being decimated by hunting in the early 1800s. These animals can be observed at rest on the rocks or frolicking in the surf under Admirals Arch - a spectacular coastal grotto. On the headland above is a beautiful stone lighthouse where three light keepers and their families lived, maintaining a warning for ships. The Remarkable Rocks, huge natural granite sculptures, have been carved by relentless winds, rain and salt from the Southern Ocean.

Day 14

Barossa Food & Wine Experience

 

Travel through the city of Adelaide northwards to the Barossa wine region. The first stop is TeAro Estate, located in the main street of Williamstown in a heritage listed 1850's barn. You'll be treated to morning tea and wine tastings.  Your next stop is Maggie Beer's Farm shop, writer and founder of Maggie Beer Products, offering tastings and sales of her full product range including limited edition seasonal produce. On arrival at Lambert Estate at Angaston, you will sit down and enjoy a structured wine tasting whilst sampling local seasonal produce from gourmet platters. Main course follows, and is a feast for the senses, with two signature dishes, salad and vegetables. You will be able to purchase wine from the impressive selection, or enjoy a coffee accompanied with their popular Chocolatier (Chocolate Port). **Note itinerary is subject to change. Maggie Beers Farm Shop may not be available during peak periods and free time will be spent on the main street of Tanunda.

Day 15

Adelaide to Melbourne

 

Join your transfer to the Adelaide airport. After your flight to Melbourne, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 16

Great Ocean Road

 

This fascinating guided journey begins with a detailed introduction to Australian wildlife starting with a visit to a national park looking for wild koalas, cockatoos and kookaburras. Your Wildlife Guide and Koala Researcher will explain the behaviour and individuality of each of the Koalas you meet. Help create habitat for a wild koala by joining the organization’s "Make a Home for Clancy" conservation project. 

Day 17

Great Ocean Road

 

See some of the world's most spectacular coastal scenery. You’ll follow the Great Ocean Road to the surging surf coast, and walk in the magnificent rainforests of the Otway National Park. Travel through Port Campbell National Park, looking out for echidnas, wallabies, lizards and colourful birds which make their home in the coastal heathlands. Linger a while to take in some of nature's handiwork at the Twelve Apostles and the Loch Ard Gorge.

Day 18

Return to Melbourne

 

This morning you’ll have one last look at the coast in the dramatic morning light before returning to Melbourne across the vast grasslands of the Western Plains. Created by intense volcanic activity over the past 2 million years, the 7000 volcanoes of the Western Plains are now extinct but the resultant savannah is pasture to a rich wool growing area - a wonderful example of Australia's great range lands.

Day 19

Yarra Valley Wine Experience

 

Arriving at Yering Station, learn how to swirl, sniff, slurp and then taste in this historic cellar door, home of the Yarra Valley's first vineyard and adjacent to its award-winning, architecturally designed winery and restaurant with sculpture garden. You’ll then visit one of the most stylish venues in the Yarra Valley with wines to match: Balgownie EstateWinery! Enjoy a high quality restaurant lunch with a glass of Balgownie Estate wine to compliment your meal.  You’ll then travel to one of the Yarra Valley's more boutique wineries, Yering Farm has stunning views and is oozing with rustic charm. Experience wines made with traditional methods in their cellar door, which showcases antique copper wine making tools used by pioneer wine makers.
