Refund Policy

 

Nobody likes to cancel at trip they have been planning and dreaming about. Downunder Travel Ltd. recognizes this, and for this reason will make this process as quick and easy as possible.

Downunder Travel Ltd. will assist with any insurance claims for such said cancellations at all times. The advice offered can save customer time and money.

Should travel arrangements be cancelled or amended after payments have been applied, Downunder Travel Ltd. will asses all the rules associated with each individual product supplier on the itinerary and advise to the customer accordingly.

Further to these supplier associated cancellation penalties, Downunder Travel Ltd. will charge a cancellation/amendment penalty of CAD300.00 per person on all airfares & CAD300.00 per person / per booking on all hotel/car/tour/train etc arrangements. ie, should a couple purchase airfares to New Zealand along with Car Rental for 2 weeks & 8 different hotels, Downunder Travel Ltd and then amend or cancel their booking after payment has been received, Downunder Travel Ltd.  will charge a cancellation penalty of $300 per person to cover the airfare content & $300 per person to cover the land arrangement content. Total cancellation penalty imposed by Downunder Travel Ltd. $400 per person in this example. The Downunder Travel Ltd. cancellation/amendment fees are in addition to that of the cancellation / amendment penalties imposed by the individual suppliers.

Once refunds have been processed, the funds can take anywhere up to 8 weeks to appear on the customer's credit card statement.
