Introducing Jane Osborne - Destination Specialist
I first became acquainted with the South Pacific during a 4 month backpack trip many years ago. Later I spent 6 years living in New Zealand and have now made more than 2 dozen trips to Australia, New Zealand as well as Tahiti, Fiji and the Cook Islands.
This corner of the world holds special interest for me due to the fabulous variety of landscapes, the uncrowded, unspoiled rural areas, vibrant cities, the amazing wildlife, and coastal zones with reefs, islands, beaches and dramatic shores.
Some of my top experiences include: viewing the wildlife on Kangaroo Island; hiking in Cradle Mountain National Park in Tasmania; exploring Cape Leveque in Western Australia; snorkelling in the Aitutaki lagoon in Cook Islands; walking the Lavena Coastal track in Taveuni Fiji; soaking in the warm waters of the stunning Bora Bora lagoon; picnicking in Abel Tasman National Park, NZ; a quiet walk to admire the massive kauri trees in the Waipoua Forest, NZ; spotting a kiwi in the wild on Stewart Island, summiting Mt Kilimanjaro with fabulous guides; tucking into a real pavlova for dessert; and a dawn hot air balloon ride over the Atherton Tablelands, Cairns.
My affinity with the South Pacific and years of experience exploring the destination and my vast knowledge of the region ensure that I provide the best itinerary ideas to suit your interests and budget. Whether you are interested in history, geology, general scenery, diving, sailing, hiking, relaxing, golfing, good food and wine, aboriginal culture, surfing, rafting, or have a special occasion to celebrate, my expertise will ensure a great vacation downunder.
